We have a team of dedicated people and qualified professionals in diverse practice areas. Mr. V.V. Gautam is the Managing partner of the Firm.

V.V. Gautam is Law Graduate from Delhi University, prior to joining V.V Gautam and Associates, Mr. V.V. Gautam served Government of India in various capacities which include providing his service as Examiner of Patents and Design, Assistant Director in Industries Department and Revenue Officer in Customs, Central Excise, Service Tax and Narcotics Department. While being in Central Govt., he played pivotal role in drafting various legislation relating to indirect taxes, which include drafting of IPR (Import Goods) Enforcement Rules, 2007, GST Act & GST Rules. V.V Gautam represented India in various seminars and conferences at World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) Headquarters, Geneva, Switzerland and European Patent Office, Munich, Germany and in India.

With the support of his associates, utilization of synergy between him, his associates and clients, he has developed the firm’s expertise in core area of litigation which includes taxation (including direct and indirect, such as excise, service tax, value added tax & GST), special economic zones, corporate law, intellectual property rights, filing of patents globally, international and commercial arbitration, FEMA & PMLA, anti-corruption laws, energy and Infrastructure, real-estate, start-ups, Civil & Criminal.

V.V Gautam and Associates provide single window solution and complete consultancy, advisory to their overseas clients, who intent to invest into India in business and industry, which include due diligence, selection of state and the location for business and industry, procurement of land, selection of architect and builders for design and construction of proposed project, preparation of feasibility report, assisting in finance from various financial institutions and banks, seeking advance ruling in respect of their activities in India about proposed taxation structure in India and effective tax rate and classification of the goods being manufactured, imported and sold in India and services being obtained in India and delivered at India and the Corporate Tax including the Income Tax.
